They have a number of locations to peruse their exploits:
Webcomics That I Read Regularly:
I filter through a fair number of webcomics on a regular basis, and I am always adding and removing ones from the main list. The following are ones that somehow have wormed their way into my heart as particular favorites of mine. And because I can't leave it at that... I go on to elaborate on why they are my favorites. You don't have to like them for the same reasons, or at all for that matter. It just means your a terrible human being if you don't. That's all.
PVP
If you are unfamiliar with PVP by Scott Kurtz... then you may not be an internet dweeb. Nevertheless, it is a smart, funny and consistent strip. His popularity is often times polarizing to those who are less so. Nevertheless, Kurst has carved out more success with this medium then anyone else can boast.
SINFEST
A daily strip that explores themes of theology, pop culture, ego, gender roles, self image, addiction and the nature of good and evil. Plus it's cute. Adorable, really.
COMMISSIONED
Obsidian, the creator of this daily comic, is a genius with facial expressions. His characters range from incredibly subtle to outright ridiculous emotional expression, with hilarious results. Even if you don't get the role-playing humor, the art alone will make you laugh.
MISFILE
While generally not a big fan of anime-based style in comics, there are a few exceptions that are too good for me to hold it against them. Misfile is such an example. While the premise sounds flaky on paper (a drunken angel causes a boy to turn into a girl, and a girl to loose the last few years of her life), Chris milks it in all the right ways to explore character relationships and gender identity and the choices we make because of them.
ERRANT STORY
Michael Poe, creator of Exploitation Now has created a sweeping fantasy epic that does not take it self too seriously (at all) and yet, has more heart then it gives itself credit for. Gritty and poignant, sarcastic and sassy. I always find myself excited when the next update comes around.
GIRLY
While less juvenile then it's predecessor CuteWendy, Josh Lesnik's "Girly" still has some of the freshest, freeist, funnest art around. And while now grounded in a more linear and controlled narrative, it still jumps and leaps in bizarre and exciting directions that poke fun at typical sequential art before leaving it in the dust.
ZEBRA GIRL
An amazing artist with an incredible scope of imagination. I would definitely consider him one of the major inspirations for my creation of 'Incipient', though it might embarrass him to know that. While funny and sarcastic, Zebra Girl is one of the most involved works I've seen. Go and read from the beginning (which you should do with ALL good comics anyway) and watch the evolution of character and creation.
SHORTPACKED
David Willis' wit astounds me. His mind for story development is mind boggling. Read the epic of It's Walky in it's entirety (beginning way back in 1998 with "Roomies", his first go at webcomicry) and witness his astonishing development from the humble beginnings (with many of the same characters) into it's climatic finale. His artistic and narrative evolution is another principle inspiration for 'Incipient'.
ZAP!
I love this comic. I'm not even sure what it is about it that I love. Maybe its the amazing artwork. Maybe it's the hilarious antics. Maybe it's the epic star-crossed love story. Maybe it's all the sexy cat-girl butt shots. Whatever it is, they are doing it right.
LOSERZ
Always funny, and always fresh. While the theme of perpetual outcast-teen-angst is not new, or even terribly interesting in its own right, Erik Schoenek's hilarious sense of humor, perfect delivery and sexy style make this a personal favorite of mine. You just have to deal with the sometimes non-existant update schedual (yeah, I know... I'M one to talk).
EL GOONISH SHIVE
Dan Shive is my guilty webcomic pleasure. His comic seems to cater to every subculture that I try to avoid (furries, anime, SF/fantasy roleplaying, gender swapping, what have you...) and yet he weaves it all together seamlessly, in an earnest and humble work that is fun and interesting to read.
THE PERRY BIBLE FELLOWSHIP
This comic is better then anything.
STRIPTEASE
One of the first webcomics I stumbled across and began to read regularly. It has come a long way from its rather humble beginnings, which is probably why I respect it so much. Never afraid to radically change the dynamic between his characters and explore new territory, Chris Daily keeps his comic fresh and exciting.
WTF COMICS
Sometimes I question myself why I still read this comic religiously. I was never into EverQuest (the backbone on which this comic was started on) and it updates sporadically, if at all. But nevertheless, I love the characters and all their quirks. And their dynamic relationships are always entertaining. Whenever I do stumble upon an update, it almost always leaves me hungry for the next. Damnit, why can't Maguna and Straha just kiss and be happy??
I don't read Penny Arcade.
